TokVault Privacy Policy

TokVault is a Chrome extension for downloading TikTok videos without the logo or watermark. TokVault is developed by saigon.pro. TokVault is not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance.

In short: TokVault does not collect your personal data. Your settings and download history stay on your computer. TokVault only connects to TikTok.

What TokVault does

Downloads videos, photos, background music, subtitles, descriptions and cover images.
Loads the video list of a profile or playlist, so you can choose what to download.
Records TikTok LIVE streams to .flv files.
Creates a LIVE stream link and an ffmpeg command, so you can restream to YouTube.

TokVault only runs on tiktok.com.

Data stored on your device

TokVault keeps a small amount of data on your computer. This data never leaves your device.

Settings: language, file naming template, download options, and which features are turned on. Stored in the extension’s local storage (chrome.storage.local). Settings are not synced to your Google account.
Download history: video ID, author name, description and download time. Stored in the extension’s own IndexedDB. TokVault uses it to mark videos you have already downloaded and skip them.
Chrome download list: TokVault looks up Chrome’s download list by video ID, only to know which videos are already on your computer.

You can delete your download history in Settings → Download history. Download history is also deleted when you uninstall TokVault.

Network connections

TokVault only connects to TikTok and TikTok’s media servers. It uses these connections to get video lists, video information, media files and LIVE streams.
TokVault uses the TikTok session already open in your tab, the same way the TikTok website does.
Files are saved through Chrome’s download manager to your Downloads folder.
TokVault has no servers of its own. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party scripts, and no remotely loaded code.

What TokVault does not collect

Personal information.
TikTok login data or passwords.
Browsing history.
Location.
The contents of files you download.

TokVault does not sell or transfer any data to anyone.

YouTube stream key: the stream key you enter in the Restream section stays only in that panel’s memory. TokVault does not save it and does not send it anywhere.

Browser permissions and why TokVault needs them

downloads — save videos, photos, music, subtitles and LIVE recordings to your Downloads folder, and check which videos are already downloaded.
downloads.open — open a downloaded file, or the folder containing it, when you click it in the download history.
storage — save your settings.
sidePanel — show the TokVault control panel next to your TikTok tab.
Access to *.tiktok.com — add download buttons to TikTok pages and read the video data needed for downloading.

Children

TokVault is not directed at children. TokVault does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Your responsibility

Only download content you have the right to use.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

TokVault làm được gì

Ghi lại TikTok LIVE thành file .flv.
Tạo link luồng LIVE và lệnh ffmpeg để bạn phát lại (restream) lên YouTube.

TokVault chỉ chạy trên tiktok.com.

Dữ liệu lưu trên máy của bạn

TokVault lưu một ít dữ liệu trên máy tính của bạn. Dữ liệu này không bao giờ rời khỏi máy.

Cài đặt: ngôn ngữ, mẫu đặt tên file, tùy chọn tải, và tính năng nào đang bật. Lưu trong bộ nhớ cục bộ của tiện ích (chrome.storage.local). Cài đặt không đồng bộ qua tài khoản Google.
Lịch sử tải: ID video, tên tác giả, mô tả và thời điểm tải. Lưu trong IndexedDB riêng của tiện ích. TokVault dùng lịch sử này để đánh dấu và bỏ qua video bạn đã tải.
Danh sách tải xuống của Chrome: TokVault tra cứu danh sách tải xuống của Chrome theo ID video, chỉ để biết video nào đã có trên máy.

Bạn xóa được lịch sử tải trong Cài đặt → Lịch sử tải. Lịch sử tải cũng bị xóa khi bạn gỡ TokVault.

Kết nối mạng

TokVault chỉ kết nối tới TikTok và máy chủ media của TikTok, để lấy danh sách video, thông tin video, file media và luồng LIVE.
TokVault dùng phiên TikTok sẵn có trong tab của bạn, giống cách trang TikTok tự làm.
File được lưu qua trình quản lý tải xuống của Chrome vào thư mục Downloads.
TokVault không có máy chủ riêng. Không analytics, không theo dõi, không quảng cáo, không script bên thứ ba, không tải code từ xa.

TokVault không thu thập những gì

Thông tin cá nhân.
Dữ liệu đăng nhập TikTok hay mật khẩu.
Lịch sử duyệt web.
Vị trí.
Nội dung các file bạn đã tải.

TokVault không bán và không chuyển dữ liệu cho bất kỳ ai.

Khóa luồng (stream key) YouTube: khóa luồng bạn nhập ở mục Restream chỉ nằm trong bộ nhớ của bảng đó. TokVault không lưu và không gửi khóa luồng đi đâu cả.

Quyền trình duyệt và lý do TokVault cần

downloads — lưu video, ảnh, nhạc, phụ đề và bản ghi LIVE vào thư mục Downloads; kiểm tra video nào đã tải.
downloads.open — mở file đã tải, hoặc thư mục chứa file, khi bạn bấm vào trong lịch sử tải.
storage — lưu cài đặt.
sidePanel — hiện bảng điều khiển TokVault cạnh tab TikTok.
Quyền truy cập *.tiktok.com — thêm nút tải vào trang TikTok và đọc dữ liệu video cần để tải.

Trẻ em

TokVault không nhắm tới trẻ em. TokVault không thu thập dữ liệu của bất kỳ ai, kể cả trẻ em.

Trách nhiệm của người dùng

Chỉ tải nội dung bạn có quyền sử dụng.

Thay đổi chính sách

Khi chính sách thay đổi, bản mới sẽ được đăng tại chính trang này, kèm ngày cập nhật mới.
